Sales Development Representative (2 positions)

United Kingdom (London preferred) · Full-time · Reports to Director of Enterprise Sales

About the role

We need two people who can pick up the phone, talk to a business owner, and book a meeting. That's the job. No fluff.

Our target market is UK-based importers, exporters, and wholesalers who need better ownership around international payments, FX, supplier pressure, and proof. The value proposition is concrete — you just need to get it in front of the right person. You'll work from a focused target list, a clear playbook, and a Director of Sales who'll coach you. You bring the energy, the resilience, and the willingness to make 50 calls a day knowing that most people will say no.

What you'll actually do

  • Make 40-60 outbound calls per day. Every day. No excuses.
  • Send personalised emails to decision-makers at target companies.
  • Qualify prospects: do they move enough money internationally? Are they unhappy with their bank? Do they have decision-making authority?
  • Book discovery calls for the Director of Enterprise Sales.
  • Follow up on inbound leads and enquiries.
  • Log everything in the CRM. If it's not logged, it didn't happen.
  • Hit your monthly targets for calls, meetings, and pipeline.

Who we're looking for

  • 1-3 years of SDR, BDR, or telesales experience. B2B preferred.
  • You're confident on the phone. Not reading from a script confident — actually having a conversation confident.
  • You handle rejection well. Most calls go nowhere. You call the next number anyway.
  • You're competitive. You want to be top of the leaderboard.
  • You're organised. High-volume outbound means tracking hundreds of touchpoints.
  • You're genuinely curious about how businesses work and why they pay too much for things like FX.

Bonus

  • Experience selling financial services, FX, or payments products.
  • Knowledge of import/export businesses or international trade.
  • You speak multiple languages (especially Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, Arabic, Turkish, or Mandarin — languages spoken by UK importer communities).
  • Existing network in UK wholesale or commodity trading sectors.

Compensation

Base salary + uncapped commission on qualified meetings that convert. The better you are, the more you earn. We'll discuss exact numbers in the interview.
